Ray Jones (RP)
With over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and couples—including my background as a Pastor in the Christian tradition—I offer a warm, reflective, and values-oriented approach to therapy. At the core of my practice is the belief that meaningful change emerges through living in closer alignment with one’s values. My goal is to help you develop practical ways of responding to life’s challenges with greater openness, awareness, resilience, and purpose. I work with clients seeking clarity, personal growth, and meaningful change.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a highly flexible, transdiagnostic approach, meaning it can be helpful for a wide range of concerns. Rather than focusing primarily on symptom reduction, ACT helps people develop psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present, make room for difficult thoughts and emotions, and take action guided by their values.
LGBTQ+ Affirming and Culturally Sensative
I strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and affirming environment for individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and cultural backgrounds. I approach my work with an appreciation for the unique experiences and intersections that shape each person’s life.
Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
Part of my practice includes psychotherapy-informed psychedelic preparation and integration support. With additional training in this area, I support clients in clarifying intentions, exploring expectations, and thoughtfully processing insights related to past or personally meaningful psychedelic or other altered-state experiences. This work is grounded in harm reduction, psychological safety, and values-based integration, supporting clients in carrying insights into meaningful and sustainable changes in daily life.
I do not provide, recommend, prescribe, or administer psychedelic substances. My role is to offer psychotherapy, reflective support, and psychoeducation within an ethical and professional framework.
